Frequently Asked Questions 

You make a booking and pay via the website, Booking Page. Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time, you will receive a short briefing. You will then be taken to the escape room and your 60 minutes will start. You and your teammates will then have to solve puzzles, search for hints and clues to complete the objective at hand. If you really get stuck, you can ask for some help. The aim is to complete the game within 60 minutes. The games are designed in such a way that they flow into the next challenge or puzzle. Each clue or hint is only ever used once. The important thing is, knowledge is not power, our escape games are not intended for examining your general education, instead, teamwork is required. Escape games stimulate your cooperation through communication, common consideration and combined action.

Escape rooms are tons of fun and create memorable experiences, after playing a game you will have a sense of achievement and bonding within the group. You will talk about it for a while afterwards.

You have a maximum of 60 minutes to complete a game. If you are really good it could be a bit quicker.

2-6 people per game. We however suggest a minimum of 3 if you are new to escape rooms. The optimal number is 4-5 players.

If you are a bigger group you can divide the group up and when the one group is playing the other groups can go and have a coffee or drinks at one of the restaurants at the nearby shopping center.

No, just your group as per your booking.

There is no set age restriction, but the games will be very challenging for children under the age of 12, and they will most likely not enjoy the experience. Children under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

If you have younger children they can accompany you in the rooms but we suggest a one to one child to parent/adult ratio. If you have children younger than 7 years old you do not need to pay for them, but the rooms will be very tight for space if you book for 6 or 7 adults, so suggested booking of 4 adults per game if you have children with you.

If you have really small children, under one years old, it works well to put them into a baby carrier.

Please note that we DO NOT offer any child care facilities, minors need to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Yes. Any of the ‘tight space required’ tasks will need to be performed by another team member.

We do not lock the doors, so you can get out if needed.

Our rooms are spacious. There are a few parts of the games that require someone to be in confined spaces, so if you are claustrophobic do not volunteer for those tasks. Remember the we do not lock the doors, so you can get out if needed.

No! Have fun playing the game, it will need your full attention.

Clothes. No special clothing is required.

You need to book via the website, go to the Booking Page. You need to make a payment within 20 minutes to secure the booking. The payments are made via a Payment Gateway (Payfast) so it is secure and safe. We are a cash free facility.

We do not accept cancellations, but you can reschedule your booking. For rescheduling please send a email to [email protected] at least 2 days before your original booking for it to be moved.

You can just bring the additional people with and pay for them using a debit of credit card. We have card facilities. Just remember not to exceed the maximum number of players.

We encourage online payment using Payfast but do also accept all major cards. Please note we are a cash free facility.

We do not sell food and beverages, but there are restaurants and a Pick n Pay in the shopping center where you can purchase food and beverages. We encourage that you allow some time after your game to have something to drink and/or eat afterward, you will want to talk about it with your teammates.

Please try to arrive 15 minutes before your booking. There will be a short briefing before, we would like it if you could start playing at the scheduled time.

Yes, we do. Please send an email to [email protected] to book/arrange such events. We will open during our non standard operating hours to accommodate corporate events. There are good restaurant in the shopping center that can also accommodate you. We can put you in touch with them.

No, water bottles are allowed.

No players will be allowed to play if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, no refund.

No photos or videos may be taken in the rooms, we do not want to spoil the experience for other players. You can however take as many photos and videos outside the rooms and share them on social media (we encourage it). We have some cool areas especially for selfies and group photos.
